Magnificent and rare Mid-Century Modern sculptural lounge chair.
Striking Dutch design from the 1970s.
Original black lacquered plywood cantilevered frame with a new cushion upholstered with a multi-colored cowhide.
The design of this amazing sculptural lounge chair is very much inspired by the bentwood designs of Alvar Aalto.
The back and seat are supported only by the front legs, creating an elegant curve into this amazing design.
Very sturdy and extremely comfortable to sit in!
This wonderful Mid-Century Modern sculptural lounge chair is in very good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
