About the Item

Designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and produced by Knoll, this iconic MR Lounge Chair with matching ottoman embodies the Bauhaus philosophy of form and function. Crafted circa early 2000s, the chair (model 248LC) features supple black leather cushions stitched in quilted panels and supported by a seamless tubular steel frame in polished chrome. The cantilevered design offers gentle flexibility and exceptional comfort while maintaining the clean lines and refined simplicity that define the International Style. Both pieces bear the KnollStudio logo and the designer’s engraved signature. A timeless and collectible addition to any modern interior. The ottoman is 18"H x 23..75"W x 22.5"D.
