About the Item

Incredibly rare and elegant lounge chair by renowned Czech architect and designer Jan Bocan. This chair was made for the Slovakian government in the 1970s. It has been reupholstered in a lovely light blue corduroy without any blemishes whatsoever but could easily be reupholstered in any fabric desired. The bentwood is in great condition considering its age without any flaws to mention, in other words, in immaculate vintage condition. Somewhat reminiscent of the lounge chairs by Alvar Aalto for Artek
