About the Item

Fritz Hansen attributed 1940s Danish highback lounge chair in Lambswool. Sublime highback lounge chair with channeled backrest made in Denmark in the late 1930s or early 1940s. This model chair is seen from time to time in the Danish market and is often attributed to Fritz Hansen, but unfortunately the Fritz Hansen connection can not be documented. The proportions are very similar to Mogens Lassen's style also with the rounded organicly shaped armrests. Superbly stylish and comfortable the chair has a very strong presence to anchor any room. Newly upholstered and refurbished in an ivory 100% Australian merino lamb’s wool that looks and feels like shearling and maintains many of the same properties. Excellent newly refurbished and re-upholstered condition.
