About the Item
Originally crafted in the 1940s by Slagelse Møbelværk, these Alfred Christensen armchairs have been reupholstered in a cozy white shearling that pairs well with the ebonized mahogany arms and legs. Christensen's furniture designs embraced soft curves, using traditional craftsmanship to create modern shapes. The round, sloping arms provide an elegant contrast to the fuller forms of the back and seat, while the splayed legs keep the chairs low and ideal for lounging.
