About the Item
Classic pair of original lounge chairs designed by William Katavolos, Ross Littell and Douglas Kelley for Laverne International from the Architectural Group One line of 1952. Architectural in design , the steel frame creates an open floating appearance of the curved seat that flows gracefully into the back. Upholstered in button tufted cognac leather in the International style of Mies van Der Rohe . Chromed steel is mirror clean with one spot of loss on lower end of one strap , shown in images . Leather shows wear and minor fading but only as patina . Leather is soft and supple foam is soft with no evidence of hardening .
