About the Item

Pair of lounge chairs, beech, cane, Europe, 1930s/1940s These elegant armchairs were crafted in Europe in the 1930s/1940s, showcasing the timeless appeal of early modern design. The pieces feature solid beech frames with refined proportions and straight lines that highlight their architectural presence. The sides and back are adorned with woven cane panels, adding a sense of lightness and texture to the sturdy wooden structure. The chairs retain their period charm through the richly patterned upholstery in warm brown velvet, complementing the dark tone of the beech wood. The deep seats and gently reclined backs ensure comfort while maintaining a sophisticated, structured silhouette. Kindly note that the chairs are in good, used condition and show some minor irregularities in the cane.
