Beautiful pair of Caravelle lounge chairs in brown leather designed by Paul Leidersdorff and manufactured by A. Leidersdorffsen A/S, Denmark, 1965.
This rare Danish modern armchair features a solid aluminum slipper frame with black lacquered plywood seat and back, complemented by tufted brown leather cushions and padded armrests. The mix of industrial materials with the soft leather reflects the forward-looking spirit of mid-century Scandinavian design.
The chairs are in very good original condition with a fine patina to the aluminum and leather, showing defined character adding to the charm of the design.
