Dagmar Design - Karu lounge chair
The Karu chair is a contemporary update of a classic design first produced in Finland by the Haimi Oy company in the early 1950s. The inviting curved arms and subtle winged back are the epitome of the post-war Nordic aesthetic. Karu offers perfect proportions for a bedroom or living room chair. The chair legs are available in oak or beechwood in a range of finishes. The frames are made from solid beechwood with a fully sprung seat. The chairs are available to be upholstered in a range of luxurious fabrics and shearlings.
Examples shown are upholstered in Sahara brown sheepskin with oiled oak legs.
