About the Item

Exceptional pair of mid century Danish modern lounge chairs designed by Poull Volther for Frem Role circa 1950's. These chairs are in very fine, original condition, showing only minor cosmetic wear, normal and consistent with age. The frames are of solid teak, the seat cushions are in nicely patinated black leather, the seat straps which support the set cushion have been replaced. Hard to find examples of Danish furniture, from the Golden Age of Northern European mid century design, priced and offered as a pair. Total H 26.5 x arm H 19.5 x seat H 15.25 inches. Fem Rojle model 390 chairs.
