Lohmeyer was one of the early pioneers of the Mid-Century Modern and Danish Modern Design movements taking inspiration from his Danish colleagues but adding his own artistic flare which is on display in the design of these 411 chairs as well as his now iconic "Columbus" chair. This set of 411 Armchairs is a true collector's item showing the promise and beauty capable of German designers and craftsmen producing pieces out of the literal ashes of post-war Germany and is perfect for those who appreciate the beauty and craftsmanship of German Modern furniture...
