As chief designer of the United Arts and Crafts Manufacture (UP) in Brno, Jindrich Halabala pioneered a Bauhaus-inspired aesthetic in Czechoslovakia in the 1920s and 30s, and shaped post-war modernist design until his death in 1978.)
Cantilevered frame with shaped armrests. One of the most beautiful and fluid chair designs of the Art Deco period.
