An Important Pair of Italian MId-Century Futurist Lounge Chairs Attr. to Gigi Radice. The works feature an iconic futurist form emphasizing movement and speed with their angled and aerodynamic form. The legs are hand forged iron and feature an angled, tapered and transparent aesthetic amplifying the their futurist appeal. The upholstery is original and is need of updating. Overall, these are an dramatic pair of armchairs with unique form and lines. Futurism was early 20th century movement that influenced the development of Modernism. These works are an opportunity to be connected to that history. Furthermore, they are high-backed and comfortable.
