This pair of lounge chairs with matching ottomans, crafted by an unknown but highly skilled designer, exude supreme quality and elegance. Featuring solid hardwood frames and upholstered in superb chocolate brown leather, these chairs can easily stand alongside the finest pieces from the era’s leading furniture makers. Although research has yet to uncover their exact origins, these chairs were purchased from a prestigious design store near Leno, known for selling top brands such as Cassina, B&B Italia, Artemide, Knoll, Azucena, and Arteluce, Formanova, among many others. This suggests that these chairs were crafted by a similar master furniture maker, whose identity remains a tantalizing mystery. The hardwood frames are beautifully shaped, with a strong and well-engineered structure that supports the generously sized seats. A striking feature is the design's contrast between the angled, straight-lined backrest and the organically rounded front feet, adding a subtle yet sophisticated touch. The chocolate brown leather upholstery is still in excellent condition, showcasing both the durability and timeless appeal of these chairs. Another nice details is that the back of the structure is not attached to the shell, its simply leans against it, showing the structure of the shell is also of outstanding craftsmenship and the back feet only function as back up support and of course contributing to their aesthetics. Overall, this is a very comfortable and well-preserved pair of lounge chairs, embodying the highest standards of mid-century design and craftsmanship. They are a true testament to the artistry of their unknown creator, offering a unique opportunity for discovery and appreciation.
