A striking pair of Model 3814-1KF swivel lounge chairs, designed by Yrjö Kukkapuro for Haimi in the 1960s. These sculptural pieces are exemplary of Kukkapuro’s modernist philosophy—balancing functional ergonomics with futuristic form.
Each chair features a bold black ABS plastic shell, contrasted by cushions reupholstered in white Italian leather by a previous owner. The chairs swivel smoothly on pedestal bases and offer exceptional comfort and support.
Both chairs are in good vintage condition. One of the chairs shows some scratches to the armrests, consistent with age and use. The overall look remains clean and presentable, with the reupholstered leather in excellent shape.
