About the Item
Pair of “Weekend” lounge chairs, Model TP 641, designed and manufactured by Tage Poulsen in Denmark, 1960s–1970s. The strong architectural frame is executed in solid oak with exposed joinery and cylindrical stretchers that emphasize the clean and modern Danish aesthetic.
The seat and back are newly upholstered in light canvas, creating a relaxed sling structure that provides both comfort and visual lightness. The canvas attaches with leather straps underneath — a functional and elegant construction detail.
These chairs offer a balanced combination of simplicity, craftsmanship and casual sophistication, making them ideal for both contemporary and mid-century interiors.
