Oversized and huge on character and style this G23 Hoop chair design by Piero Palange and Werther Toffoloni for Germa, Italy is truly a masterpiece. An elegant curvaceous solid maple frame combined with beautifully patinated black saddle leather seat. The chair is solid and in excellent condition, it has lots of age appropriate patina on the leather and the wood that add to its beauty, see pictures for details. The contrast between the gold maple and the black leather enhances the presence of this sculptural chair. Characteristic is the high, egg-shaped backrest that supports the seating posture in a comfortable way and the curved armrests that bears strong visual interest. This accentuates the truly refined construction made possible by the designers’ great eye for detail and high level of craftsmanship.
