This chair reflects the postmodern Italian approach of the 1970s, embodying a sculptural softness that pushes the boundaries of conventional seating design. Its form is defined by fullness and exaggeration, dominated by rounded, swelling cushions, which merge into one another to form seat, back, and armrests as a continuous whole. The chair rests low to the ground, giving it a squat, grounded stance The folds and creases of the leather are integral to the design. The use of black leather intensifies the chair’s sculptural qualities.
Please note that this item is in need of reupholstery before use. This item contains upholstery with holes and wear marks. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
