About the Item

Voguish pair of mid century, hollywood regency style lounge chairs, design reminiscent of Robsjohn Gibbings, attributed to John Widdicomb. Constructed of solid wood, probably walnut, the chairs feature a sophisticated elegant low profile, with sculptural arm rests, tapering legs with brass sabot, and a slatted back rest. Both chairs are structurally sound and sturdy, both show significant cosmetic wear to their finish, and both need new cushions. Offered and priced as a pair. Total H 31" x Arm H 22" x Seat H 12" ( not including cushion ). W 26" x D 29"
