About the Item

A rare and elegant "Oxford" lounge chair by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen. Designed in 1965, this chair was manufactured in 2007. It is a rare example of the lounge chair variant - with a very comfortable reclining posture. It is covered in high grade pale beige leather. The arms are made from brushed aluminium. The padding is firm and shows no sign of any wear. The condition is very good, with only minor signs of age. The Fritz Hansen label and fabric tag are affixed.
