About the Item

A rare Art Deco highback lounge chair by Wilhelm Knoll for Knoll, 1930s. Knoll was founded in 1865 by Wilhelm Knoll with the ambition to manufacture high quailty furniture. During the 1930s the company was handed over to Wilhelms grandson Hans and his wife Florence Knoll. During the years the company has created many masterpieces and collaborated sime if the worlds top designers and architects. This lounge chair has survived the test of time with only a few signs of use. The fabric is most likely original, we recommend to reupholster this piece of decorative art.
