Rare floor lamp with hammered brass leaves by Angelo Lelii for Arredoluce
By Arredoluce, Angelo Lelii
Located in Sittard, LI
We proudly present this monumental palm floor lamp designed by Angelo Lelii and produced by Arredoluce, Monza Italy ca. 1950. This extremely rare floor lamp features 6 leaves in hammered brass with original green lacquer on the insides, the brass surround the perforated metal lamp shade in the centre of the lamp. The heavy cast-iron base gives stability to this floor lamp. The lamp still remains in a all original condition with a beautiful patina, ready to use. Signed by the maker underneath the base. The couple moved to Monza after marriage, and although the biographical information available is scarce, we know that he began manufacturing lamps in his Monza house in 1943 and that in 1946 he advertised his Tris lamp...
