About the Item

Condition: good condition with some small signs of age and use - the upholstery is new with a small black mark on the central seat cushion (see photo) Vittorio Introini, born in Milan in 1935, graduated from the Polytechnic University of Milan. Starting in the 1960s, he began working as a designer, both independently and in collaboration with various Italian companies. Vittorio Introini passed away on March 29, 2023. Passionate architect and designer, Vittorio Introini began his design activity in the 1960s. The charge of innovation and change given by his cultural background can also be relived in his furnishings. His language combines several factors: individual creativity, the subjectivity of compositional systems and the knowledge of new materials. An exploration towards an international and avant-garde style that finds an excellent partner in the Saporiti company. Since 1950, Saporiti Italia produces some of the most sophisticated and advanced pieces of furniture of the history of Italian design. There is a leit motiv in all the company’s creations: each new piece is history in itself. . Each item created and constructed by the company is slightly ahead of its time and it is destined to last, both in form and function, until the next era. The company, founded in 1950 by Mr. Sergio Saporiti and still under control of the Saporiti family, has contributed to the creation of milestones in the history of Italian design.
