About the Item

Classic mid century modern easy chair in a walnut finish that makes an incredible accent piece in the living room. Gorgeous lines with a spindle frame and sculpted arms give a delicate touch that belie its surprising robustness. After much hemming and hawing, we finally settled on a gold silk fabric that we think compliments the wood tones of both chairs nicely (upholstery and cushions are brand new), and makes them easy to slot into your living room. Relics of a better time in design in the US, Baumritter made some stylish, Danish inspired pieces in the 50s and 60s, before the Ethan Allen line subsumed the entire company and became the suburban monstrosity it currently is.
