The designer duo Roberto Lucci and Paolo Orlandini created this lovely lounge chair in 1974. 'Le Farfalla', meaning butterfly in Italian, derives its name from the wing-like structure of the frame, a shape that is further emphasized by the double jointed cushions. A visually interesting contrast is created between the rigid frame which is based on precise, geometrical shapes and the bulky cushions.
