About the Item
An extraordinary pair of armchairs from Mauser Werke Waldeck — designed in the late 1950s by the renowned German designer Hartmut Lohmeyer.
The solid chrome frame has a minimal patina, lending the armchairs character and authenticity. The seat and back cushions are upholstered in a mustard-colored, Alcantara-like fabric and are in mint condition—a harmonious blend of comfort and style. The cushions offer excellent seating comfort.
Mauser Waldeck was known for high-quality tubular steel furniture and understood how to produce durable furniture with a modern design aesthetic. Lohmeyer's design is characterized by its uncluttered, functional design, which is now appreciated as a mid-century classic.
