The Toga is a type of chair that can be stacked, designed so one can be placed on top of another. Sergio Mazza created it in 1968, using a single piece of fiberglass. This material is heated then molded over a solid form to achieve its shape and hardens as it cools down. The Toga chair made its debut at the International Furniture Exhibition in Milan in 1969.
Artemide, a company based in Milan known for blending functional utility with elegance in its products, manufactured the chair. Companies like Cassina, Kartell, and Tecno, along with designers such as Ettore Sottsass and Gaetano Pesce, played significant roles in elevating Italy’s reputation in the field of consumer product design during the 1960s, establishing it as a major player on the global stage.

Vintage Original Finish On The Wood Frames As Well As Original Vintage Upholstery On The Cushions. All Original Nylon Cording That Zig-Zags Between The Framing.
These Vintage Lounge Chairs Does Have Normal Wear To The Wood Frames Throughout The Years Of Use. There Are Some Scuffs Here and There, Some Chipping To The Finish Here And There, and As For The Cushions It Too Is The Original Vintage Upholstery and Still Has A Lot Of Comfort To Them. There Are No Rips, Tears or Holes In The Original Upholstery. The Upholstery Is A Vintage Goldenrod Color Over All. The Webbing Is In Excellent Condition.
These Chairs Are Very Comfortable, And Stable.
