About the Item
4, 1940’s French style small scale club chairs in Cerused White Oak from France. One purchased through Miguel Saco Inc. in New York City. Three club chairs are precision crafted duplicates of original with no detail in construction overlooked and finishing carried out to the highest standard by Miguel Saco Restoration workshop. They are upholstered in Ashbury calf hide in off white with slight warm gray tones. No samples of leather exist in our offices. The scale is extraordinarily diminutive for salon / apartment dwellings. They are chic and extremely comfortable. Original may not be purchased separate from the four-unit ensemble. A foot stool exists purchased with the original sale of chair. It is also listed on 1st Dibs.
One chair has a very faint oil blemish in a six-inch diameter (approximately) from “Obenauf’s, Leather Preserver” which did not thoroughly dry. Due to age and oxidization the original is slightly darker than the duplicates, but all are in an acceptable range.
