"Turku" lounge chairs designed by Ironies Kate McIntyre and Brad Huntzinger. Retailed by Kneedler and Faucheré in San Francisco, CA. Crafted from hand-crafted polished steel frames inset with bronze lattice. The sculptural design has gracefully curved lines and dramatic profiles. The arm rests are constructed from oak with a cerused finish. Each chair is topped with a loose seat cushion. The seat measures 13 inches high without a cushion. These elusive and rare chairs are pieces of functioning art. From a grand estate in Idaho.

Martin Eisler (1913–1977) and Carlo Hauner (1927–1997) were influential figures in mid-20th-century furniture design. Eisler, born in Vienna, Austria, studied architecture before relocating to Argentina in 1938, where he established his interior design firm, Interieur Forma. Hauner, born in Brescia, Italy, studied technical drawing and design at the Brera Academy in Milan. In 1948, he moved to Brazil and founded Móveis Artesanal, a furniture production company.
