Unique 1970s lounge chairs in very good condition.
Manufactured by Galerie Maison et Jardin, Paris
The chairs feature lucite panels which are connected by a solid gunmetal frame.
The transparency of the Lucite gives the chairs a light and airy appearance, while the gunmetal provides a high-end contrast.
The upholstery adds a touch of comfort and warmth, balancing the modern aesthetic with functionality.
The chairs are reupholstered in a high-end 'Adapt Monochrome’ fabric by Kirby Studio.
These chairs are extremely well made and very heavy.
Fabric description:
ADAPT explores being reactive to our surroundings and overcoming obstacles, represented by weaving over and under creating the basket weave structure of this textile. A metaphor for the Kirkby studio who are constantly overcoming challenges, learning more and more about sustainable textiles. ADAPT is made of entirely recycled fibres, so no dye is used in the making of the textiles, saving on water, energy and chemicals.
