About the Item
Lounge or ball chair, fiberglass, leather, Italy, 1960s
This pop-cultural lounge chair features a concave-shaped seat perched atop a conical base. The base securely supports a hemispherical ball, enabling the seat to rotate and allowing the user to adjust its angle. Designed as a shell, the seat offers a wonderfully embracing experience for the sitter. The combination of white fiberglass and brown leather evokes the appearance of a coconut, adding to its charm. The chair strongly resembles the 'Girasole' chair, designed by Luciano Frigerio.
Please note that this item in in used condition. The leather shows wear marks, stains, and tears. Reupholstery is possible before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
