About the Item
The Tangram lounge chair gets its name from the geometric planes that are so evident in its profile, resembling the tangram puzzle and the action of assembling with shapes.
The crossbars are fixed to the outside of the upholstered seat, providing a support surface that reinforces the perception of the planes present in the design.
The rear legs rise up to act as a backrest and are covered in natural straw, forming a single transparent plane that contrasts with the strong presence of wood.

André Grippi is a São Paulo based designer, that believes in design as a tool for building and expressing narratives and memories. His trajectory acting in dance is reflected in a process that seeks to incorporate movement to the concretion of his pieces. He debuted his first authorial collection in the Art and Design Market - 2019, in São Paulo, and launches in SP - Arte 2024 the Cabana collection, highlighting the identity search of his work, through a constant investigation of the form and its transposition into matter.
