About the Item

Rare set of two Italian handcrafted safari armchairs designed by Carlo Hauner, exclusive for Forma (Mompiano Brescia), very limited edition produced with a Minimalist construction in white lacquered wood with dark brown leather, like this pair in original condition. A second option at the time was in natural wood as on the pictures of the advertisement page of the 1970s magazine. The square modern Minimalist design and the way the leather is linked to the wood are defined in the original description as a very young innovation.
