Vintage Klaus Grabe chaise lounge Model C5. USA, 1950. Stained plywood.
This is the first Klaus Grabe we have come across with hand cut wood organic design floral appliqués attached to the sides. They are easily removable if one desires to not have them.
As shown there is wear to the finish and chipping to the flowers. Note: It was not cleaned before photographing, but my guess it is may be desirable to repaint the structure and the flowers. Or, one could just give it a good cleaning and touch up some of the areas.
