About the Item

Warren McArthur suite of four lounge chairs circa late 1930s. These seldom seen examples retain their original finish to their tubular aluminum frames. They have been newly upholstered in a blue duck as originally offered by Warren McArthur and referred to in his upholstery chart as Devon Blue. The chairs also have new webbing copied from the original webbing. Warren McArthur did not use cord in any of his chairs. The spring held bands are original and are an innovation that McArthur introduced in the late 1930s as he continually strove to make his seating as comfortable as he could. Price is for four chairs, two with armrests two without, we can add non impactful reversible arm rests for a nominal fee should you want 4 matching chairs. The set is in excellent vintage condition with acceptable wear as expected. Details.
