About the Item
This vintage mid century German modern brown leather two-seat loveseat sofa in the style of Robert Haussmann for Hans Kaufeld is circa 1970. This unique couch is well-built and sturdy with a clean, minimalist aesthetic that combines a rectilinear boxy profile with slouchy comfort. The sofa features original brown leather upholstery with a distinctive wide metal band that wraps around the outer frame. Leather is perfectly distressed and timeworn with great vintage character. The four sofa cushions are removable. The sofa has two solid teak legs in the back with rolling casters in the front. This stylish and functional sofa has classic vintage appeal that pairs well with a wide range of decor from mid-century-inspired to contemporary. Perfect for home, office or hospitality setting.
CONDITION
Very good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use and a distressed appearance. Leather upholstery is soft and supple with general wear and color fading to leather surface from use over time.
