About the Item

This is a Custom, Studio-Crafted Executive Desk Chair, designed and produced by artist John Nyquist in the 1970s in the USA. The frame of the chair is made with teak and the upholstered seat and back are black leather. The piece is stamped with the artist's initials, "JN". John Nyquist (1936-2018) was a well-known West Coast Craftsman and woodworker who created one-of-a-kind and limited production pieces. This chair measures 28 inches deep, 28 inches wide, and is 50.5 inches high. The black leather upholstery shows some patina and some minor scuffs, and there is wear apparent on the arms. Overall, this chair is in very good condition. Please see photos.
