About the Item

This elegant antique French armchair was crafted in France circa 1880 and exemplifies the graceful lines and refined ornamentation of the Louis XV style. Constructed of solid walnut, the chair features a beautifully shaped barrel-form back with double cane panels to the back and sides, lending lightness, ventilation, and visual texture while highlighting the quality of late 19th century French craftsmanship.
