About the Item

These are Elite Desk Chairs, Model 597-5, designed by Ed Keilhauer for Keilhauer in 1983. The listed price includes one chair, and we have several pieces available for purchase. Their design features a mid-height back with an underlying seat of plywood, and has thick foam cushions on its seat and back. They have a steel frame with a pneumatic height adjustment, with upholstered arms and a swivel and tilt function. Their upholstery is done in a tumbled ecru leather. Each chair measures 30 inches deep, 26.5 inches wide, and 36.75 inches at lowest height. Their height is adjustable up to 40.75 inches. Their seat height varies between 17 inches at lowest, and 21 inches at its highest level. The arm height varies between 24.75 inches and 28.75 inches. These chairs are all in terrific shape, with some slight scratches and scuffs on bases, and some darkening of the leather. They roll and swivel smoothly. Overall, these chairs are in very good condition with some signs of use. Please see photos. Genuinely faulty goods will be replaced or money refunded on a case by case basis, however we must be advised of any faulty goods upon receipt of the item. It is the customer's responsibility to pay for return shipping and ship the item back to us. If the item is found to be faulty, we will also refund the postage cost. If there is no damage to the item, but a return is approved, the buyer will be responsible for both the initial and return shipping cost. It is at our discretion to refuse the refund of undamaged goods. If an order is placed and you would like to cancel the order, please notify us immediately. Any refunds will be processed via the same means that payment was made.
