About the Item

Charles Bevan attributed, probably made by Marsh and Jones of Leeds. A fine quality Gothic Revival oak desk or side chair with turned uprights below the backrest and carved wavy details below the seat. Turned front legs on original brass casters, united by a turned H-stretcher. At the top of the backrest is a recessed handle making it easy to move. Now upholstered in a quality green leather.

Based in Bond Street, they supplied furniture to Windsor castle and Buckingham Palace, founded by his Great Grandfather George Seddon.
