This chair is a good looking and well made original Victorian example, circa 1880-1900, the frame is Mahogany and the leather is period, the seat platform is webbed and coil sprung Condition wise, as mentioned this chair has been restored from the ground up, the leather upholstery has been washed back, hand dyed six times, antiqued, sealed waxed down and polish, there will be age and use related patina marks all over as you would expect from a 120-140 year old piece Dimensions: Height:- 84cm Width:- 69.5cm Depth:- 71cm Seat height:- 45cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
