About the Item

This is an extremely beautiful and stately, English Regency chair in solid mahogany, Circa 1825. The Carving is exceptional with classical forms of bellflowers, acanthus leaves, scroll arms, reeded legs and b a ll feet. The patina is absolutely beautiful and is original. The frame for the removable seat is also original. This chair is an excellent condition and is extremely sturdy. Ready for use for another 200 years. Now on view at the Berkshire Galleries of Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Contact me for additional images where any questions you may have.
