About the Item

List price is per chair, total of 6 chairs are available! L'Atelier, a renowned furniture design company, stands as a testament to the genius of its founder, Jorge Zalszupin. A Polish-born architect who made Brazil his home, Zalszupin made significant contributions to Brazilian Modernist furniture design through L'Atelier. Established in São Paulo in 1959, L'Atelier was born out of Zalszupin's desire to create modern, high-quality furniture that reflected the vibrant culture and abundant natural resources of his adopted homeland. His designs seamlessly melded aesthetics and functionality, embodying a sophisticated elegance that spoke of a deep appreciation for materials, craftsmanship, and ergonomics. It is unclear if the design of this very rare swivel office chair is by Jorge Zalszupin himself or somebody of his design team. The 6 chairs have been carefully restored, preserving the original molded solid plywood seat. Seats are re-upholstered with genuine fine leather in a similar color of the original seat. The original labels have been reused . Photos of the original chairs with labels are available. These fantastic chairs are in very good condition and can be used any time. Listprice is per chair!
