Royal House Antiques Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this absolutely exquisite, original Mid Century Modern Circa 1970's De Sede DS35 Executive swivel office chair in hand dyed aged brown leather with a chrome base Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote, please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price. The chair is one of a pair, I have the matching chair listed under my other items which has a flat base without wheels If you are looking at this listing then the chances are you know what this is, simply put, the finest office chair ever made, this piece is super comfortable, it screams mid century style, charm and opulence, this is as cool as it comes in terms of luxury office furniture The piece is fully upholstered with the original heritage leather hide, it has De Sede's patented leather stitching on all sides and the arms, this really is the best of the best This (and its counter part listed under my other items) is the only chair in the world with this exact leather finish, its been fully restored by a Ralph Lauren trained leather polisher, he has washed the old colour out, hand dyed the piece six times, antiqued it, sealed it then finally waxed it down and polished, this piece is super unique and looks amazing in any setting Condition wise, it is over 50 years old and has a very illustrious life, as such there is plenty and patina as you would expect, during the restoration process the idea is not to hide or remove this patina Dimensions: Height:- 87cm Width:- 77cm Depth:- 73cm Seat height:- 49cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
