About the Item
This set of two Fröscher office chairs was designed by Burkhard Vogtherr in the 1970s and manufactured in the early 1980s. Featuring warm cognac-colored leather and black fiberglass seat shells, the chairs are in very good condition. The leather is soft, and the backrests show only minimal signs of wear. The chairs feature springs and a recline mechanism and can be used as office chairs or modern dining chairs.
The Fröscher Manufaktur was founded in the 1920s by August Fröscher, primarily as a manufacturer of barber chairs, and has been part of the successor company to Rosenthal Möbel since the 2010s. German designer Burkhard Vogtherr has created classic chair designs for several manufacturers.
