About the Item
This elegant ottoman features a rounded, generously padded seat upholstered in a neutral linen textile, finished with hand-applied nailhead trim along the edge. The carved wood frame retains a softly distressed painted finish, highlighting a continuous Greek key (meander) motif encircling the apron.
Raised on turned and tapered legs joined by an arched X-form stretcher with a central turned finial, the piece is both sculptural and well balanced. Classic in form and proportion, this ottoman works beautifully as accent seating, a vanity stool, or a decorative footstool, bringing refined French architectural detail to any interior.
