About the Item
From Italian: Stone
The designer Marta Manente is of Italian descent, her great-grandparents migrated from Italy over 100 years ago and lived in the region of Bento Gonçalves – Brazil on the mountains that surround the Rio das Antas. The river that made the initial profession of the family of wooden log rafts, transporting wood in times of river floods to various places in the state. The river is memorable in stories told by his father who was a carpenter, and is currently the family's resting place. Where the stones at the bottom of the river were cut by the movement of the waters, the setting for this century-old story, which lives to this day between pebbles and cold water, full of good energies.
The Pietra ottoman is designed with pure, organic shapes. Covered with a comfortable fabrics, off-white boucle or a polyester with a “natural skin” in coffee color.
*The Pietra Ottoman can be used separately in the decoration, or fitting in front of the Pietra armchair. (see the suggestive image)
*The rounded shape of the ottoman fits the front of the armchair, increasing depth for better comfort. (see Pietra armchair).
