Vintage 20th c., small upholstered ottoman in yellow with dainty white floral print, on turned mahogany legs, ending on casters, unmarked, The solid wood legs with turned details are equipped with brass casters on all four legs, allowing for easy movement and functionality. Transitional with a touch of French Provincial influence, ideal for traditional or eclectic interiors. This ottoman is perfect as an accent piece for a living room, bedroom, or reading nook, offering both practicality and aesthetic appeal. Its sunny yellow color and classic design make it a versatile addition to any home. Dimensions: 14"h x 22"l x 21"w Good. Wear consistent with age an use. Fabric is clean. The legs have some dings, likely from contact with a vacuum cleaner. Provenance: Furniture and Decorative Arts from the Laura Pels Collection, River House, NYC Literature: Laura Pels (1931-2023) was a renowned benefactor for nonprofit theater through the Laura Pels International Foundation for Theater. which funded Playwrights Horizons and Roundabout Theater in Manhattan, the Brooklyn Academy of Music and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, in addition to providing grants and direct funding to theater arts institutions throughout the world.
