About the Item

A sculptural antique English lambing chair with a rocking function, crafted in England circa 1890s. The design reflects the provincial style of traditional 19th-century lambing chairs, combining functional simplicity with refined craftsmanship. The chair features a high backrest with slightly concave armrests and a winged design, mounted on oak plank runners that allow gentle rocking. The backrest frames a large field of deep red velvet upholstery, accented with round metal studs, while a small drawer beneath the seat adds practical storage and detail. This fine baroque style rocking chair will complement many interior styles. A Classic, Scandinavian, Antique, Primitive or an Bohemian home decor.
