A super rare and highly collectable children's rocking chair, made in the Aesthetic Movement which I have never seen before, it has the original ebony frame with gilt bronzed decorations and leather upholstery, this really is a very good looking piece In terms of the condition, it has been fully restored, the leather has been washed back, hand dyed six times, antiqued sealed waxed down and polished, the frame has been cleaned and lightly French polished, the idea with this type of restoration is to keep all the original patina but make it present in better than new condition Dimensions Height:- 70.5cm Width:- 36.5cm Depth:- 74.5cm Seat height:- 36.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
